Municipal Level Training of 2024 Census of Population and Community-Based Monitoring System in Occidental Mindoro

The Philippine Statistics Authority PSA) Occidental Mindoro successfully conducted the 2024 Census of Population and Community-Based Monitoring System (POPCEN-CBMS) Municipal Level Training in all municipalities in the province. The training was conducted on July 1-6 and July 8-13, 2024 and trained a total of 481 enumerators and team supervisors. 
    
PSO staff led the municipal level training in all areas of the province. The training aims to equip the hired enumerators with necessary skills and tools for effective data collection in preparation for the upcoming 2024 POPCEN-CBMS.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has declared July 2024 as “National Census and Community-Based Monitoring System Month” to support the conduct of the census from July 15 – to September 15, 2024. The PSO – Occidental Mindoro, headed by Chief Statistical Specialist, Maribel L. Bernardo, PhD, would like to seek the full cooperation of all household and institutions in the province to ensure the smooth operation of the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS.
