WHEREAS, the Philippine Statistics Authority Board thru Article I of the PSA Resolution No. 5, s. 2015, shall establish the Regional Statistics Committee (RSC) in the regions to provide direction and guidance to regional/local statistical development activities;

WHEREAS, Article II of PSA Resolution No. 5, s. 2015, RSC states that the RSC may modify its composition to provide flexibility in its operation whenever the need arises;

WHEREAS, the inclusion of the City Government of Puerto Princesa in the RSC is seen to improve and support the data needs of the committee in formulating statistical policies designed to resolve local statistical issues and in recommending workable schemes towards the improvement of local level statistics;

WHEREAS, the RSC, as the policy making body on statistical matters in the region, shall provide assistance in the establishment of Puerto Princesa City Statistics Committee (CiSC), which shall serve as its counterpart and a venue for the discussion and resolution of statistical issues at the city level;

NOW, THEREFORE, ON A MOTION DULY SECONDED, be it

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, That RSC MIMAROPA confirms the City Government of Puerto Princesa as additional member of the RSC.

RESOLVED FINALLY, That copies of this resolution be provided to the City Government of Puerto Princesa and all agencies concerned;

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.
