WHEREAS, the Philippine Statistics Authority Board, through Article I of the PSA Resolution No. 5, s. 2015, shall establish the Regional Statistics Committee (RSC) in the regions to provide direction and guidance to regional/local statistical development activities;

WHEREAS, Article II of PSA Resolution No. 5, s. 2015, RSC states that RSC may modify its composition to provide flexibility in its operation whenever the need arises;

WHEREAS, Section VI.D (2) of the DILG-PSA Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2022-0001 mandates the RSCs to serve as the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Coordinating Boards at the regional level and address CBMS-related matters through the creation of a technical working group (TWG), sub-committee, or special committee within the RSC;

WHEREAS, RSC Resolution 14, s. 2023 titled "Creation of a TWG for the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System under the Regional Statistics Committee to serve as the CBMS Coordinating Board in the MIMAROPA Region" was approved during the 2023 fourth quarter RSC meeting;

WHEREAS, the inclusion of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) MIMAROPA in the RSC formalize its linkage and role in the TWG for the Community-Based Monitoring System as stipulated in CBMS Resolution No. 2, s. of 2022, and DILG-PSA Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2022-0001;

NOW, THEREFORE, ON A MOTION DULY SECONDED, be it

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, That RSC MIMAROPA confirms DICT MIMAROPA as additional member of the RSC.

RESOLVED FINALLY, That copies of this resolution be provided to DICT MIMAROPA and other all agencies concerned;

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.
