Registered Vital Events

In Marinduque, live births constituted the highest number of registrations among the three vital events, totaling 2,326. This figure represents a substantial 72.55 percent higher compared to deaths, which recorded 1,348 registrations. Marriages, with 634 registrations, had the lowest number, being 52.95 percent lower than the number of death registrations.

Registered Live Births by Month of Occurrence

From January to November 2024, September recorded the highest number of registered live births, comprising 12.2 percent of the total registrations during the said period. Meanwhile, November had the lowest number of registrations, accounting for only 6.0 percent of the overall total. These figures are based solely on the counts of registered live births and do not include data for December, which was not yet available at the time of reporting.

Registered Live Births by Sex

Based on the provisional data, during the specified reporting period, the number of registered live male births exceeded that of female births by 3.1 percent. This statistically higher percentage of male births indicates a slight but noticeable numerical advantage of male infants over female infants within the given timeframe.

Registered Marriages by Month of Occurrence

For the period covering January to November 2024, the number of registered marriages showed noticeable monthly variations. Among all the months, May recorded the highest number of registered marriages, contributing 21.6 percent to the overall total. This indicates that a significant portion of couples chose to solemnize their union during this month.

On the other hand, October registered the lowest number of marriages, with only 9 recorded events. This figure represents a mere 1.4 percent of the total number of registered marriages during the reference period.

Registered Deaths by Month of Occurrence

Provisional data on death registrations indicate that August recorded the highest number of registered deaths, accounting for a 12.0 percent share of the total death count during the reporting period. Conversely, November exhibited the lowest number of registered deaths, with a count of two (2), representing a 0.1 percent share of the total registered deaths. This disparity highlights a significant monthly variation in mortality figures within the provisional dataset.

Registered Deaths by Sex

Provisional data on death registrations reveal a notable disparity in sex distribution, indicating that male deaths constituted 30.03 percent more than female deaths during the reporting period. This means that for every 10 female deaths recorded, approximately 13 male deaths occurred.
