10 APRIL 2025 – MASALUKOT, SANTA CRUZ, MARINDUQUE. On 10 April 2025, PSO Marinduque, in partnership with the Santa Cruz Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO), successfully organized a BRAP Mobile Registration event in the barangay hall of Barangay Masalukot, Santa Cruz. This initiative aimed to enhance access to civil registration services for residents. 
Birth Registration Coordinator Shiela Mae D. Matining, together with LCRO Santa Cruz staff Trixia Camille Romasanta, efficiently facilitated the preparation of birth certificates for individuals whose records were not found in the PSA database. Several registrants were born outside the province, and their documents will be endorsed to the appropriate PSA or LCRO offices for further processing.

Barangay Secretary Anacel R. De Luna also played a vital role by issuing the necessary Barangay Certification and Certificate of Indigency - key requirements in processing delayed birth registrations. To streamline the registration efforts, a consolidated list of potential beneficiaries was compiled for verification against the PSA database, ensuring that assistance is provided to those in genuine need.

Additionally, National ID personnel John Mar Nambio and Danice Sherlean Laceda extended their services by assisting residents with National ID registration and distributing the National IDs in paper format.

The event provided a convenient and welcoming setting for community members to register vital information, ensuring that they could easily fulfill their registration needs without traveling far. The collaborative effort underscored the commitment to improving civic engagement and empowering residents through accessible services. Overall, the mobile registration proved to be a valuable resource for the community, fostering greater participation in civil registration.
