Empowering Women: PSO Occidental Mindoro Celebrates

National Women's Month

05 March 2025, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro. In support of the National Women's Month Celebration (NWMC) this March 2025 with the sub-theme "Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas”, the Philippine Statistics Authority — Occidental Mindoro proudly joins and celebrates the National Women's Month with an opening ceremony on March 03, 2025 at PSO office, Barangay Payompon, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro.

The NWMC is a month where we celebrate and recognize the invaluable contribution of women throughout history. This year's theme highlights the women on all sector of the industry emphasizing their strength and inclusivity in all aspect. It is a reminder to everyone to recognize the important contribution and commitment of women on our society.

To honor this celebration, the PSO Occidental Mindoro will conduct various lectures, activities, and wear purple colored shirt every Wednesday throughout the month of March in support of the National Women's Month celebration in the country. NWMC is not just a celebration, it is to honor women regardless of her profession or action. By celebrating this women's month,we are honoring women's dedication and contribution on our society. Together, let us be an advocate of women empowerment, gender equality, and foster an environment that is inclusive to everyone.
With this, the PSA Occidental Mindoro enjoins the partner local government units, the provincial line agencies, and the public to support and join the month-long celebration.
