The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is pleased to announce the launch of National ID registration for children under the age of five. This initiative aims to ensure that all Filipinos, regardless of age, have access to essential services and benefits by securing their National Identification.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to visit designated registration centers to register their children, taking advantage of the opportunity to provide them with a valid National ID. Registering a child for the National ID system unlocks access to important services, including school enrollment, scholarship applications, student assistance programs, and the ability to open junior savings accounts at financial institutions.
The National ID serves as a critical tool for ensuring that every Filipino has secure identification, enabling easier access to government and private sector services. The registration for children under five years old will be part of the ongoing National ID registration campaign across various municipalities in the province.
Parents and guardians are advised to check for local schedules and registration updates to ensure that their children are registered. This initiative is a significant step towards inclusive identification for all Filipinos, and PSA encourages everyone to take part in making this process a success.
For more information on the National ID registration, please visit the nearest registration center or contact PSA Palawan at palawan@psa.gov.ph.
