Palawan Provincial Statistical Office successfully registered One Million Twenty-two Thousand Two Hundred Eighty-five (1,022,285) Palaweños in the Philippine Identification System as of 25 June 2024. This notable achievement is a result of the continued efforts of the PhilSys registration teams through conducting a series of purok and school-based registrations, co-locations with other local and national agencies, and priority registration for Indigenous Peoples communities and marginalized sectors.

The PSO Palawan will continue its efforts to locate and encourage the still unregistered individuals to be PhilSys Registered. PhilSys Registration teams strengthened the conduct the PhilSys registration in barangays to bring the PhilSys Services closer to the public. A series of information
dissemination campaigns were conducted all throughout the provinces to unveil the benefits of being PhilSys Registered.
