Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Marinduque Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) collaborates with the Department of Social Welfare and Development Provincial Operations Office (DSWD POO) to enhance the access of 4Ps beneficiaries to government services, particularly social and financial assistance programs. This collaboration includes the incorporation of the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) to modernize and simplify citizen identification processes. Notably, this partnership prioritizes the provision of PhilSys registration and authentication to all beneficiaries of the 4Ps program within the province.
PSA-Marinduque conducted a three-day PhilSys Co-location activities from 21 to 23 of February 2024. This initiative aimed to extend PhilSys services, including registration, ePhilID issuance, and authentication of PhilIDs/ePhilIDs, directly to the 4Ps community through eight (8) designated co-location sites of the Family Development Session (FDS) for 4Ps beneficiaries. Throughout this endeavor, a total of 24 beneficiaries were successfully registered to PhilSys, while 459 beneficiaries were able to authenticate their PhilSys IDs.
The partnership between the PSA and DSWD bears great significance in streamlining the processes involved in the 4Ps program. This joint effort, scheduled to continue until June 2024, emphasizes the shared commitment of both agencies to ensure the authentication and registration of all the 4Ps beneficiaries in PhilSys. Additionally, this collaboration not only signifies a commitment to efficiency but also underscores the importance of inclusivity and support for those in need. Together, they are working tirelessly to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families benefiting from the 4Ps program.
As PhilSys continues to expand its implementation, individuals who are not yet registered are encouraged to take the initiative and visit the nearest registration centers to be registered.
