PSA Oriental Mindoro Conducts March 2024 Rice and Corn Stocks Survey: Household (RCSS:H)

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Oriental Mindoro will conduct the March 2024 round of the monthly Rice and Corn Stocks Survey: Household (RCSS:H) on the 1st week of March 2024. This survey is in accordance with Republic Act (RA) No. 10625 or the Philippine Statistical Act of 2013, which authorizes the PSA to prepare and conduct periodic censuses on various sectors of economy and Executive Order No. 352 mandating the conduct of RCSS:H every month.

The RCSS:H aims to assess the current rice and corn inventories of sample households across the province. The collected data, together with stocks in the commercial and government sectors will be used by government planners, policy makers and administrators in formulating social and economic development plans, policies, and programs.

Four statistical researchers (SRs) will be involved in the conduct of the March 2024 RCSS:H data collection on March 01 to 05, 2024. The field data collection will be conducted for five days, followed by manual editing and computerized data processing.

The PSA is committed to deliver relevant and reliable statistics. Hence, the agency encourages the public, especially the sample households and establishments, to participate in the various censuses and surveys conducted by the PSA. The agency also assures that all collected personal information are processed in accordance with the law and other issuances.
