27 February 2025 – BUENAVISTA, MARINDUQUE. Demonstrating its commitment to making civil registration services more accessible, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Marinduque, in collaboration with the PSA Regional Statistical Services Office (RSSO) MIMAROPA, successfully rolled out the Mobile Civil Registry System (CRS) Outlet service in LGU Buenavista on 27 February 2024. This initiative was made possible through the support of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Buenavista and the Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO) Buenavista.

Designed to bring vital public services closer to communities, the Mobile CRS Outlet provides residents with a convenient and efficient means to secure essential documents, including birth certificates, marriage certificates, and death certificates. By eliminating the need for long-distance travel, this initiative ensures that civil registration services remain accessible to all. More notably, the Mobile CRS Outlet facilitates same-day release of requested documents, significantly improving service efficiency and public convenience.

The event garnered a strong response from the local community, with hundreds of documents successfully processed throughout the day. Residents expressed appreciation for the streamlined process, underscoring the positive impact of PSA’s ongoing outreach programs in enhancing public service delivery.

This initiative underscores PSA’s steadfast commitment to leveraging digital transformation to improve government services. Through continued collaboration with local government units, PSA remains dedicated to bridging service gaps and ensuring that essential civil registration services reach even the most remote communities.
