27- 28 February 2025 – MARINDUQUE. Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to providing accessible and efficient civil registration and identification services, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Marinduque Provincial Statistical Office (PSO), in collaboration with PSA Regional Statistical Services Office (RSSO) MIMAROPA, successfully conducted a Mobile Civil Registration System (CRS) Outlet Services in Buenavista and Gasan on 27-28 February 2025. Under the leadership of
PSA MIMAROPA Regional Director Ms. Leni R. Rioflorido and  PSA PSO Marinduque Chief Statistical Specialist Ms. Gemma N. Opis, the initiative was carried out in collaboration with Local Government Units (LGUs) and Local Civil Registry Offices (LCROs) to bring essential services closer to the communities.

Through this initiative, residents of Buenavista and Gasan gained convenient access to National ID registration and issuance services, alongside civil registration document requests. The activity was particularly beneficial for individuals in remote areas, addressing the challenges of traveling to provincial offices to obtain official identification and civil registry documents.

Over the two-day period, 165 individuals successfully registered in the National ID System, while 64 residents received their National ID in paper format. This initiative plays a critical role in facilitating identity verification and enabling individuals to seamlessly access government services, financial institutions, and other essential transactions.

By extending these services directly to communities, PSA PSO Marinduque reaffirms its commitment to ensuring that every Filipino has access to a secure, reliable, and universally recognized form of identification.

Looking ahead, PSA PSO Marinduque is set to expand its mobile registration efforts, prioritizing remote and underserved areas to further strengthen national identity inclusion. This proactive approach not only enhances service accessibility but also supports the government's broader goal of building a more inclusive and digitally connected society.
