05 February 2025 – BOAC, MARINDUQUE. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Marinduque Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) officially commenced the month-long celebration of the 35th Civil Registration Month (CRM) with a vibrant motorcade and thanksgiving mass on 05 February 2025 at the Biglang Awa Shrine, Mataas na Bayan, Boac, Marinduque. With this year's theme, “Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System”, the event underscores the importance of civil registration in ensuring legal identity and access to essential services for all Filipinos.

The motorcade, which passed through major roads in Boac and Mogpog, garnered active participation from key stakeholders, including local government units (LGUs), national government agencies, non-government organizations (NGOs), and private institutions. The display of banners and balloons, coupled with the playing of the official CRM jingle, reinforced the advocacy for accurate and timely civil registration.

Following the motorcade, a Thanksgiving Mass was held to express appreciation for the progress made in the implementation of civil registration program and services and to renew the commitment to achieving universal civil documentation for all.
Throughout the month, PSA Marinduque will conduct various activities such as mobile registration, information dissemination, and stakeholder engagements to strengthen public awareness and participation in civil registration initiatives.
