05-07 FEBRUARY 2025 – CAJIDIOCAN, ROMBLON. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)-Romblon Provincial Statistical Office has intensified its conduct of National ID registration activities in far-flung communities, particularly in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas and crossed seas to reach more Romblomanons.

On 05-07 February 2025, in support to the Mobile Serbisyo Caravan, PSA Romblon conducted National ID mobile registration in Sibuyan island, particularly in the municipalities of Cajiodiocan and San Fernando, to register residents who cannot easily go to Registration Centers to have a safe and convenient registration.

Unregistered family members and neighboring households were likewise accommodated. To immediately enjoy the benefits of being National ID-registered, Registration team issued ephilID after the registration if readily accessible for downloading. Otherwise, registrant will be contacted once the ID is available for claiming.

Meanwhile, on February 07, 2025, a home service was conducted at Sitio Maligaya, Brgy. Cantagda, Cajidiocan, Romblon to register an elderly person who is unable to register on mobile registration sites. Challenges during the registration is undeniable but the desire to reach the most disadvantageous is one of the primary goals.

Futher, Registration Officer I Engr. Mariel V. Fallarcuna reached out to students in various schools through an information dissemination session. The session aimed to educate and raise awareness regarding the importance and use of the National ID, which will support their access to essential government services and strengthen their readiness for professional opportunities.

PSA Romblon continues to work closely with local communities to ensure that even those with special needs, such as senior citizens and bedridden individuals, can complete their National ID registration, granting them access to essential services and government assistance programs.

Meanwhile, a Fixed Registration Center is located at G/F Kadbayan MPC Bldg., Brgy. Dapawan, Odiongan, Romblon, beside the Civil Registry Sytem (CRS) Outlet, to offer the National ID services along with updating of demographic information.
