23 December 2024 –Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Services Office (PSA RSSO) MIMAROPA successfully conducted the Cascading of Training on Validation of Supporting Documents and IDs for its staff. This initiative aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of personnel in verifying the authenticity of documents and IDs, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in their validation processes.
The training commenced with an inspiring opening message delivered by Registration Officer IV Veneranda F. Mendoza. In her remarks,
she emphasized the importance of vigilance and meticulousness in handling supporting documents and IDs to maintain the integrity of the PSA’s services.
Registration Officer III Leovell B. Atienza led the main discussion, focusing on the distinct security features of various government-issued IDs, including the Philippine National ID. She provided an in-depth explanation of the step-by-step processes involved in checking the security features of the National ID to determine its authenticity before dispatching it to the cardholders. Her discussion highlighted the technical and procedural aspects that ensure the National ID’s credibility as a secure proof of identity.
The event concluded with a closing message from Chief Statistical Specialist Ma. Leizl L. Magbojos, who expressed her gratitude to all participants and resource persons. She shared her hopes that the training provided valuable insights and practical knowledge that the staff could apply in their tasks.
This activity is part of PSA RSSO MIMAROPA’s commitment to upholding high standards in its operations and ensuring the public’s trust in the National ID system and other PSA services.
