19 June 2025 – MUNICIPALITY OF CULION. In pursuit of a truly inclusive and accessible public service, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Palawan brings the National ID registration closer to the people of the municipality of Culion through its ongoing PhilSys registration campaign. The mobile registration team is currently making rounds across the said municipality, setting up in accessible locations to accommodate registrants of all ages. The registration commenced last 13 May 2025, and expected to end on 8 July 2025.
This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to reaching even the most geographically isolated communities, ensuring that every Filipino - regardless of location - has access to a secure and universally recognized identification system. Residents of Culion, from the mainland to its remote island barangays, are now being given the opportunity to register for the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys). By providing a valid proof of identity, the PhilSys ID aims to simplify access to government services, financial institutions, and social programs.
All registration activities are free of charge, and residents are advised to bring supporting documents such as a birth certificate or any valid identification card. With continued cooperation among PSA, local government units, and barangay officials, the PhilSys rollout is expected to register thousands of individuals in the coming weeks.

Through this campaign, we affirm our commitment that no island, no community, and no citizen will be left behind. The municipality of Culion is not just a part of Palawan - it is a vital part of the nation, and its people deserve the same access and opportunities.
Together, let us build a more inclusive future — where no island is left behind.
