PSA Occidental Mindoro awarded with ISO 9001:2015 Certification

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Occidental Mindoro under the supervision of Chief Statistical Specialist, Maribel L. Bernardo, PhD., has been awarded by the TUVNORD as ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System for three-year period beginning 2024-2027. The result was based on the result of the recertification audit conducted by the ISO certifying body.

The certification confirms that the PSA – Occidental Mindoro complies with ISO 9001:2015 in the areas of statistical planning, policy, and standards development, statistical operations, civil registration, and Philippine Identification Systems operation. The PSA-Occidental Mindoro will continuously put an effort in adhering to the QMS standards and improves the operation and services of the office in the delivery of quality statistics, efficient civil registration and inclusive identification system towards our clients.

The National Statistician and Civil Registrar General, Usec. Claire Dennis S. Mapa, PhD., awarded the ISO 9001:2015 Certificate to PSA – Occidental Mindoro during the recently conducted 2024 Midyear Performance Review and Group Learning Sessions held at Tamaraw Beach Resort, Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro on 29 July 2024.
