PSA Oriental Mindoro Conducts PhilSys Authentication 
among DSWD Program Beneficiaries

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Oriental Mindoro in collaboration with Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) conducted authentication of identities of DSWD program beneficiaries. Along with this PSA Oriental Mindoro also conducted PhilSys registration of unregistered Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries to allow a more efficient, targeted and equitable delivery of social protection programs and services.

Through this partnership, the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) will ensure all 4Ps beneficiaries are registered in PhilSys. With the use of their PhilSys Card Number (PCN), these beneficiaries undergo identity verification through biometric authentication using the PhilSys Authentication Application.

Mobile registration and authentication of 4Ps beneficiaries is still being undertaken in the Local Government Unit of Calapan City and will proceed with other LGUs based on the Family Development Session (FDS) schedules to ensure complete PhilSys registration and authentication.
