In view of creating better social conditions for the people, multi-faceted  efforts are deemed necessary and equally essential to put forward the interest and welfare of the masses.
The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Occidental Mindoro reifies its  commitment to contribute for community development by conducting social responsibility programs, viz:
1. Kalinga: A Community Outreach Program
2. Zumba Session: Encouraging Communities Towards Healthy and
Active Lifestyle
Activities were conducted in September 2022 respectively, with a total of 87 beneficiaries from Pambuhan Elementary School and nearby community of Barangay San Vicente, Abra de Ilog, Occidental Mindoro.
All kids were from five (05) to 12 years old (kinder to grade 6) belonging to the indigenous tribe of Iraya, Mangyan.
As per Ms. Michelle Fernando, PSA Occidental Mindoro was the first agency to conduct the outreach program since the pandemic started. The minority school welcomes every help and donations that will aid the  students in easing their academic struggles and personal challenges.
Further, projects like Philippine Identification System and PhilSys Birth  Registration Assistance Project were introduced making them target beneficiaries for legal documentation of identity, civil status, and family relationships to facilitate social, economic, and political inclusion and access to services in health, education, employment, civic/ economic  services, and activities.
The office lauds the joint initiative of the volunteers, PSA personnel, teachers, and local government officials of Abra de Ilog for making the  success of this vision a fruition.
