As of April 19, 2024, One Million Five Thousand Fifty-Six (1,005,056) Palaweños have been successfully registered in the Philippine Identification System. This notable achievement is a result of the continued efforts of the PhilSys registration teams through conducting a series of purok and school-based registrations, co-locations with other local and national agencies, and priority registration for Indigenous Peoples communities and marginalized sectors.

Further, the below 5 years old children (1 year old to 5-year-old) can now be registered in the National ID System. However, they should be accompanied by their registered parent or guardian upon registration. PhilSys teams in coordination with the Child Development Center of respective barangays will conduct on-site mobile National ID registration for the children. An original copy of Birth Certificate either Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO), National Statistics Authority (NSO) issued and Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) issued of the child together with the ePhilID or PhilID of the accompanying parent or guardian shall be required to proceed in the registration.

The PSO Palawan will continue its efforts to locate and encourage the still unregistered individuals to be PhilSys Registered!
