PSA Oriental Mindoro Launches the “Rehistro Bulilit Campaign” National ID Registration for 0-4 years old in Municipality of Puerto Galera
20 November 2024 – PUERTO GALERA, ORIENTAL MINDORO. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) of Oriental Mindoro successfully launched the “Rehistro Bulilit” National ID Registration for 0-4 years old in the municipality of Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro. This campaign seeks to enhance access to the National ID System for children and advocate for an inclusive identification system for all Filipinos. This is also an initiative of PSA to encourage parents/guardians to register their children in the National ID System.
During the event, the team organized fun activities and distributed snacks and makeshift tokens for children to guarantee a smooth registration procedure. Information dissemination of relevant updates regarding the National ID System was also conducted. Aside from the registration of children aged zero to four years old, the team also accepted registration applications from individuals aged 5 years old and above. In addition to providing registration services, the National ID team also assisted clients in generating their digital National ID and accepted requests for issuance of National ID printed on paper as well as the retrieval of their transaction reference numbers. The team was able to register 240 individuals at the aforementioned activity, with 141 of them belonging to ages one to four.
Additionally, to improve the National ID registration, PSA Oriental Mindoro consistently runs mobile registration, National ID registration on wheels, LGU-fixed and school mobile registration. The Rehistro Bulilit Campaign National ID registration for zero to four years old launching will continue in the remaining municipalities in the province.
