National ID: A Step Towards Inclusivity for Every Filipino
PSA Occidental Mindoro Strengthens Implementation to Ensure Access for All

24 January 2025 - Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro. The National ID System continues to champion inclusivity, offering every Filipino, regardless of gender, age, status, or race, a valid proof of identity. This initiative upholds the core goal of the National ID System to provide equitable access to all citizens, enhancing opportunities and facilitating seamless services nationwide.
The National ID team in Occidental Mindoro remains committed to collaborating with Local Government Units (LGUs), agencies, and various stakeholders to strengthen the rollout and implementation of the National ID. This collective effort is focused on ensuring that every resident of Occidental Mindoro is registered in the National ID system, making the process more accessible and efficient.
As of January 24, 2025, the National ID System in the province has made significant progress:
● A total of 481 individuals have been registered.
● 253 ePhilIDs/National IDs in paper form have been successfully issued.
● 76 clients have been assisted in generating their Digital National IDs.
● 41 demographic corrections have been made to ensure accurate and updated information (available only at the PSA Fixed Registration Center located along National Highway, Payompon, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro).
The National ID team composed of one (1) registration kit operator (RKO) and one (1) registration assistant are conducting mobile registrations across the province to ensure that everyone has a valid proof of identity.
Inclusion remains at the forefront of the National ID System’s mission, aiming to provide every Filipino with a valid and accessible identification, which is key to unlocking various government services, financial assistance, and essential benefits.
The National ID team in Occidental Mindoro remains dedicated to reaching every resident, regardless of background, to ensure that the province’s residents are fully integrated into this national initiative.
