11 February 2025 – PUERTO PRINCESA CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) of Palawan conducted motorcade activity held in the City of Puerto Princesa on 03 February 2025 to officially start the celebration of the 35th Civil Registration Month (CRM).The motorcade was joined by the members of the Palawan League of Civil Registrars, staffs from Local Civil Registry Offices, Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), and PSA Palawan Employees.

Part of the kick-off celebration was the ribbon cutting ceremony for the 35th CRM Exhibit held at the PSA Palawan office showcasing infographics of vital statistics data for the year 2023 and 2024, some information on Republic Act No. 11909 known as the Permanent Validity of the Certificates of Live Birth, Death, and Marriage Act, and Petition for correction under RA 9048.

The conduct of this yearly celebration is pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 682, signed by then President Corazon Aquino on 28 January 1991, declaring February of every year as the Civil Registration Month. This year's theme is "Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System", with the objective to strengthen, streamline, and modernize the civil registration system.
