Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Office (PSA RSSO) MIMAROPA participated in a bloodletting activity held at the NUCITI Central Activity Area, Camilmil, Calapan City. The event, organized by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) MIMAROPA in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross – Oriental Mindoro Chapter, was part of the observance of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work.

The one-day event gathered representatives from various government agencies, organizations, and individual donors, all united in the shared goal of saving lives through voluntary blood donation. The activity aimed to provide vital support to patients in need of life-saving blood transfusions.

Each donor contributed one bag of blood — a single donation that could mean the difference between life and death for someone in critical need. Events like this highlight the importance of community involvement and compassion, particularly during emergencies and times of crisis.

The Philippine Red Cross and DOLE MIMAROPA expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all the donors and participants.

The PSA RSSO MIMAROPA remains committed in supporting initiatives that promote health, safety, and public service.
