22 JANUARY 2025 – ROMBLON, ROMBLON. The Philippine Statistics Authority Romblon Provincial Statistical Office is continuing its efforts in the National ID registration of more Romblomanons, including children below 5 years old. This initiative is part of the government’s effort to ensure that every Filipino, regardless of age, is included in the National ID system. The National ID provides essential access to government services, healthcare, education, and more, ensuring that even the youngest citizens are well-represented.

Parents and guardians of children below 5 years old are encouraged to bring their children to the registration centers to complete the process. For children under the age of five, biometric data such as fingerprints and iris recognition will not be collected, but the registration will focus on capturing the child’s personal information. This includes the child’s full name, date of birth and other supporting documents like the child’s birth certificate. Parents or guardians will also need to present their own National ID that has been issued to them.
Starting 20 January 2025, PhilSys Romblon team will continue the mobile registration for the National ID in the municipalities of Odiongan and Alcantara. As registration efforts are being intensified, registration centers will be set up in the following barangays:
