17 January 2025 – CALAPAN CITY, ORIENTAL MINDORO. In an ongoing effort to improve service quality, PSA Provincial Statistical Office of Oriental Mindoro recently conducted a successful refresher training for its National ID frontline personnel. The two-day training, conducted from 16 - 17 January 2025, involved nine Registration Kit Operators and eight Registration Assistants. The training aimed to enhance their skills and knowledge ensuring a more efficient and effective service to the public.
The program focused on enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism in handling National ID-related services. Training sessions covered a wide array of topics, including the latest procedures for registration, identity verification, data security, and customer service. The refresher course also highlighted new technologies and tools designed to streamline processes and improve the overall citizen experience.
PSA PSO Oriental Mindoro emphasized the importance of such training in ensuring that the National ID system remains robust and user-friendly. “This refresher training is crucial in maintaining a high standard of service across all our frontline operations. It ensures that our staff are equipped with the best tools and knowledge to assist citizens effectively while maintaining the integrity of the National ID system,” said OIC Charlyn Romero-Cantos.
The training initiative aligns with the National Identification System’s commitment to enhancing the professionalism and capacity of its workforce, ensuring that all personnel are well-prepared to address the needs of the public in a timely and efficient manner.
