BOAC, MARINDUQUE. PSA Marinduque PSO, in collaboration with LCRO Boac, successfully completed Mobile Registration on BRAP in two barangays in Boac -  Barangays Laylay and Santol, on April 25 and 26, 2024, respectively. A successful initiative of the Boac LCRO, Boac MCR Ma. Dahlia M. Jandusay and staff, together with Birth Registration Coordinator Shiela Mae D. Matining, were present to provide services and to register individuals who do not have a record in the PSA database. COLBs of ten individuals were prepared after they completed the necessary requirements for delayed registration of live birth. Some of the registrants were born outside the province, hence, their documents will be forwarded and processed by the concerned PSO/LCRO for the subsequent registration. Another service was also delivered to the residents of the said barangays - requests for PSA copies of civil registry documents through the Boac BREQS outlet.

This undertaking is a joint project of PSA Marinduque, PSA RSSO-MIMAROPA and Boac LGU. This project aims to increase the level of civil registration especially in marginalized communities such as those belonging to the Indigenous Peoples group, Muslim Filipinos, and the poorest sector in the country and ensuring that they have their PhilIDs issued which is a gateway for them to claim their social benefits and legal identities.
