06 AUGUST 2024 – TABIONAN, GASAN, MARINDUQUE. On 06 August 2024, the PSA Marinduque-PSO, in collaboration with the Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO) of Gasan, completed Mobile Registration Services in Barangay Tabionan, Gasan, Marinduque.

Birth Registration Coordinator Shiela Mae D. Matining, along with Gasan Municipal Civil Registrar (MCR) Maria Sofia Madronio and staff, provided necessary services to residents who did not have records in the PSA database. Additionally, free consultations on civil registry documents were offered by the Gasan LCRO.

For registrants born outside the province, their documents will be forwarded to the appropriate PSA/LCRO offices for further processing and registration. The event also featured the registration to the National ID system for the residents not yet enrolled, facilitated by PhilSys personnel, RKO Arthur B. Llamera. Additionally, two BRAP beneficiaries received their Certificates of Live Birth (COLBs) on Security Paper (SecPa). The beneficiaries expressed their joy upon receiving their birth certificates, free of charge.

This initiative, a collaborative effort between PSA Marinduque, PSA RSSO-MIMAROPA, and the Gasan LGU, aims to enhance civil registration, particularly in marginalized communities, including Indigenous Peoples group, Muslim Filipinos, and the poor sectors. By issuing PhilIDs, the project helps residents access social benefits and establish their legal identities, leaving no one behind.
