The 35th National Statistics Month (NSM) celebration continued with great success, as PSA PSO Marinduque held its another campus stop for the NSM School Tour at Tiguion National High School on 15 October 2024. This event was organized in collaboration with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Gasan and the Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO) Gasan, under the guidance of Municipal Civil Registrar Maria Sofia R. Madroñio.

The day featured an engaging exhibit of infographics, informative sessions, and an exciting Statistics Quiz that captivated the students. The event aimed to enhance statistical literacy among the youth and emphasize the importance of data in everyday life and national development.

Attendees were immersed in various infographics displays that elucidated critical statistical information pertinent to local and national contexts. Engaging informative sessions provided insights into the importance of data collection, analysis, and its implications for effective decision-making.

The Statistics Quiz, the highlight of the day, encouraged student participation through an interactive format that not only tested their knowledge but also stimulated interest in the field of statistics. Prizes were awarded to the top performers, reinforcing a culture of enthusiasm and competition in academic pursuits.

The NSM School Tour at Tiguion National High School was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impact on participants and reinforcing the importance of statistical literacy in the modern world. PSA PSO Marinduque is committed to continuing its outreach efforts throughout the month, further enhancing statistical awareness and education within the province.
