15 AUGUST 2024 – KAMANDUGAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. The PSA Marinduque successfully conducted different activities at Kamandugan Elementary School last 15 August 2024. The activity encompassed information dissemination on the significance of civil registration including the process of registration of vital events, facilitated mobile acceptance services for vital documents, and actively assisted in the listing of potential beneficiaries for the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP). RO I Mary Michelle M. Macutong and BRC Shiela Mae D. Matining , were present to provide different services of PSA.

The information dissemination commenced with RO I Macutong providing a comprehensive overview of the PSA's mandate, the registration process for vital events, and pertinent civil registry laws, particularly those concerning the correction of entries in vital documents. She also provided a brief overview of Republic Act 11982, which led to an additional process in registration of individuals aged 80 and above. Additionally, RO I Macutong presented the latest updates on delayed registration. On the other hand, BRC Matining took the lead in familiarizing the group with the BRAP. By clearly outlining the program's goals and step-by-step procedures, BRC Matining provided the group with a comprehensive understanding of the initiative.

Other services were also made available during the event, such as the Mobile Acceptance Services facilitated by PSA, where parents could request vital documents. This service received a total of 61 requests. In addition, BRC Matining took the initiative to identify potential beneficiaries for the BRAP program, resulting in a list of 15 possible recipients.

This initiative was prompted by a request from Kamandugan Elementary School, through Principal II Lorna Q. Rivamonte. Its primary objective is to educate the parents of Kamandugan Elementary School students on the significance of securing essential documents, particularly for those students and parents who remain unregistered at birth.
