JULY 2025 MARINDUQUE PROVINCIAL STATISTICAL OFFICE. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Marinduque Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) is currently conducting the Second Quarter 2025 Palay Production Survey (PPS) and Corn Production Survey (CPS) with Farm Price from June 29, 2025 to July 11, 2025.

The Palay Production Survey (PPS) and Corn Production Survey (CPS) are quarterly surveys that estimate production, area, yield, and other production-related data for palay and corn, respectively. Starting 2023, these surveys included collecting data on farm prices, known as "producer prices”, determined at the farm or first point-of-sale transactions.

In Marinduque, there are 260 sample households from the 13 sample barangays for PPS. As for CPS, there are 213 sample households from 14 selected barangays across the province. To properly conduct this survey, PSA Marinduque PSO hired five Statistical Researchers (SRs) to conduct personal interviews using Computer – Aided Personal Interview (CAPI).

Pursuant to Section 19 of Republic Act (RA) No. 10173, known as the “Data Privacy Act of 2012,” all information that will be gathered will be treated with utmost confidentiality. Further, Section 26 of RA No. 10625 also stipulates that “individual data furnished by a respondent to statistical inquiries, surveys, and censuses conducted by the PSA shall be considered privileged communication and as such shall be inadmissible as evidence in any proceeding.”
