28 June 2024 – MSC AVR BUILDING, TANZA, BOAC, MARINDUQUE. The Philippine Statistics Authority enthusiastically took part in the Provincial Caravan organized by the Department of Social Welfare and Development for the beneficiaries of the 4Ps program on 28 June 2024, held at Marinduque State College Boac AVR Building, Brgy. Tanza, Boac, Marinduque.
The event presented a valuable occasion for the partners and beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) to convene and gain insights into diverse government initiatives tailored to alleviate challenges encountered by beneficiary households. Allowing each representative from the participating agencies the opportunity to present an overview of the programs and services offered by their respective agencies. Registration Officer II, Ms. Ginalyn M. Muhi, representing Chief Statistical Specialist Ms. Gemma N. Opis, delivered an informative presentation outlining the diverse range of programs and services offered by the PSA, highlighting the significance of civil registry documents. Furthermore, PhilSys Focal Person, Ms. Jiezel B. Janda, emphasized the importance of the National ID and introduced the newly launched Digital National ID during the session.
The event was a resounding success, drawing the participants eagerness to learn more about sustainable development programs and services available to them. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation as various booths, representing multiple participating agencies, were set-up at the event, providing on-the-spot services and consultations, including the distribution of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials to the participants.
Overall, the Provincial Caravan demonstrated the effectiveness of collaboration between government agencies and the community. It highlighted the importance of such initiatives in fostering resilience, promoting social welfare, and paving the way for a brighter future for all Filipinos.
