08 November 2024 – MOGPOG, MARINDUQUE. In a significant step towards environmental conservation and sustainable development, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Marinduque Provincial Statistical Office proudly hosted a tree-planting activity as part of the 35th National Statistics Month celebrations. The event, themed "One PSA, One Tree, One Quality Life – A Greener Future for All," took place on 08 November 2024, at Brgy. Butansapa, Mogpog, Marinduque.
With the theme “Advancing Data and Statistics Through Digital Transformation: A Road to an Empowered Nation,” this initiative underscores PSA Marinduque's dedication to promoting ecological sustainability while highlighting the pivotal role of data and statistics in fostering an empowered and informed society. By planting trees, the PSA not only contributes to environmental preservation but also emphasizes the importance of statistics in achieving sustainable development goals.
The event saw active participation from PSA personnel, representatives from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), and local officials from Brgy. Butansapa.
