26 SEPTEMBER 2024 - DAYKITIN, BUENAVISTA, MARINDUQUE. PSA PSO Marinduque, in collaboration with Buenavista LCRO, successfully conducted BRAP Mobile Registration in Barangay Daykitin, Buenavista, on 26 September 2024. The event took place in the barangay hall, providing a convenient location for residents.
Birth Registration Coordinator Shiela Mae D. Matining, along with Buenavista MCR Ujunneil V. Milambiling and his staff, prepared birth certificates for individuals whose records were not available in the PSA database. As a result, Certificates of Live Birth (COLBs) for ten individuals were processed after they fulfilled the requirements for delayed registration.
Several registrants were born outside the province, and their documents will be forwarded to the appropriate PSO/LCRO for further processing. Additionally, Barangay Secretary Adrian Hendrich Herance assisted in providing the necessary Barangay Certification and Certificate of Indigency, which are crucial for delayed registration. The support of Daykitin Barangay Officials was instrumental in the success of this activity, as they were present to offer assistance and facilitate the process. Furthermore, a list of potential beneficiaries was compiled for verification against the PSA database, ensuring that those in need of registration were identified and assisted.
Residents who participated in the mobile registration activity expressed their heartfelt gratitude, noting that the initiative significantly saved them both time and resources. This outreach effort is part of a larger initiative of PSO Marinduque aimed at reaching underserved communities, ensuring that all citizens have their births registered. This vital step provides individuals access to essential services such as education, healthcare, and social security.
The mobile registration activity in Barangay Daykitin proved to be a resounding success, with numerous individuals successfully registering their births at no cost. PSO Marinduque is committed to continuing these mobile registration efforts in other barangays, ensuring comprehensive coverage and support for all unregistered individuals throughout the municipality. By expanding these services, PSO Marinduque aims to further empower the community and enhance the overall well-being of its residents.
