05 MARCH 2025 – GUISIAN, MOGPOG, MARINDUQUE. In partnership with the Mogpog LGU and through the initiative of the Mogpog LCRO, PSA PSO Marinduque actively participated in an Information Dissemination Activity held in Sitio Manlumod, Barangay Guisian, Mogpog, on 05 March 2025.
The event, organized by Mogpog MCR Virginia M. Sartillo as part of the post-celebration of the 35th Civil Registration Month, provided crucial insights into Civil Registration Laws and services. MCR Sartillo emphasized the mobile services available through LCRO Mogpog, which includes the free issuance of civil registry documents for senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) under the GAD Fund project. She also highlighted the Mogpog BREQS, a service allowing individuals to request PSA-certified civil registry documents, subject to applicable fees
In addition to MCR Sartillo’s presentation, BRC Shiela Mae D. Matining explained the procedures for delayed registration through the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP), a program aimed at assisting individuals who missed the deadline for registering their births. The event served as an opportunity to identify potential BRAP beneficiaries and ensure their information is verified and updated in the PSA database for future reference. Representatives from the National ID team, RKO Arthur Llamera and RA Ana Rosechel Rodelas, were also on-site to provide valuable information about the National ID system. They registered both children and adults who were not yet enrolled, ensuring that more individuals in the community could benefit from the National ID system and its associated benefits.
Overall, the information dissemination effort by Mogpog LCRO and PSA PSO Marinduque illustrates a proactive approach to improving civil registration services. By educating constituents on their rights and facilitating the documentation of vital events, these initiatives play an essential role in enhancing governance and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of civil registry records.
