Following the preliminary data presentation, PSA Romblon also conducted data dissemination activities on the 2023 Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES) and the 2024 Functional Literacy, Education, and Mass Media Survey (FLEMMS). The objectives of these activities were to raise awareness about the status of literacy, education, media access, income levels, and spending patterns of Filipino households in the province, and to provide key findings and insights from these surveys to national and local government agencies, policymakers, and researchers.
The Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS), established under Republic Act No. 11315 or the CBMS Act, is an organized, technology-based system for collecting, processing, and validating disaggregated data. This data serves as a vital tool for planning, program implementation, and impact monitoring at the local level, while also empowering communities to actively participate in the process.
