24 SEPTEMBER 2024 – MAMPAITAN, MOGPOG, MARINDUQUE. In partnership with the Mogpog LGU, and through the initiative of Mogpog LCRO, PSA PSO Marinduque actively participated in the Information Dissemination Activity held in the Barangay Hall of Mampaitan, Mogpog, on 24 September 2024.

The information dissemination was initiated by Mogpog MCR Virginia M. Sartillo, who provided valuable insights into Civil Registration Laws. She highlighted the mobile services offered by LCRO Mogpog, including free-of-charge requests of civil registry documents for senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) through the GAD Fund project of Mogpog LCRO. Additionally, she informed attendees about the Mogpog BREQS, which allows clients to file requests for their civil registry documents in PSA copies, subject to applicable fees. 

Furthermore, BRC Shiela Mae Matining outlined the process for delayed registration through the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP). The event also aimed to identify potential beneficiaries eligible for delayed registration under the BRAP, ensuring their details were verified on the PSA database for future reference.

Overall, the information dissemination effort by Mogpog LCRO and PSO Marinduque illustrates a proactive approach to improving civil registration services. By educating constituents on their rights and facilitating the documentation of vital events, these initiatives play an essential role in enhancing governance and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of civil registry records.
