Being the regional counterpart of the PSA Board, Regional Statistics Committee (RSC) provides direction and guidance to regional/local statistical development activities in support of the decentralization thrust of the government. Given that RSC meetings are being regularly conducted quarterly and utilize parliamentary procedure, RSC MIMAROPA will spearhead the conduct of Training on Parliamentary Procedure for RSC Members in Support of Statistical Advocacies on 19 June 2025 via Zoom. Expected participants to this activity are the employees from RSC member agencies while resource speakers will come from DILG MIMAROPA.

The parliamentary procedure outlines the democratic decision-making process within a group, ensuring fair, free, and equitable discussion of any motion or proposal presented.

This will promote efficient conduct of meetings, enhance transparency and accountability, and empower members to participate confidently, ultimately fostering a collaborative decision-making environment.

The knowledge and skills that will be gained during the training will undoubtedly enhance the ability to enhance decision-making skills effectively and efficiently, while ensuring fairness for the minority and granting each member or delegate the right to voice their opinion.
