Rehistro Bulilit Launches at Kadilawan Child Development Center, Barangay San Vicente, Abra De Ilog

09 September 2024 - Abra De Ilog, Occidental Mindoro. – The PhilSys team of Occidental Mindoro, led by Mr. Christian A. Altarejos, PhilSys Focal Person, proudly announces the successful launch of the Rehistro Bulilit program at the Kadilawan Child Development Center in Brgy. San Vicente, Abra De Ilog. This initiative saw the registration of 37 children below the age of five for the National ID.

The event was designed to be both informative and enjoyable, featuring a range of activities aimed at engaging children, parents, and guardians. The day included readings of children’s books, interactive learning play sessions, and basic educational activities such as counting and understanding shapes. These activities were not only entertaining but also aligned with the program’s goal of making the registration process a positive experience for all involved.

The Rehistro Bulilit program is a significant step in ensuring that young children are included in the National ID system, which provides a valid proof of identity for all citizens. By registering these children early, the program helps to establish their official identification from a young age, facilitating easier access to various services and benefits in the future.

Mr. Christian A. Altarejos expressed his enthusiasm for the successful event, noting, "It’s heartwarming to see the positive response from the community and the children. By making the registration process enjoyable and engaging, we hope to encourage more parents and guardians to participate and ensure that every child has their own National ID."
