PSA Romblon staff discussing important accomplishments and plans during conduct of the 2025 MidYear Performance Review Sessions.

The activity commenced with an opening message delivered by the Chief Statistical Specialist, Engr. Johnny F. Solis, emphasizing the importance of performance reviews in fostering accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement in public service delivery.

On the first day, each focal person presented the progress of their respective operations, activities, and projects from January to June 2025. Key areas discussed included the status of statistical and civil registration operations, and administrative matters including financial and human resource updates.

The review also highlighted issues and concerns encountered in field operations and administrative processes. These were discussed collaboratively to develop appropriate solutions and actionable recommendations.

Moreover, PSA Romblon conducted a re-echoed Finance and Administrative Support (FAS) Training. This activity aimed to cascade the key learnings and updates from the regional training to all concerned personnel at the provincial level. The training was initiated to ensure uniform understanding and compliance with financial and administrative policies.

The activity was facilitated by PSA employees who had previously attended the training conducted by PSA RSSO MIMAROPA. They presented essential topics such as property, procurement, human resource and finance. The sessions were delivered through a mix of presentations, open forums, and scenario-based discussions. PSA employees were given the opportunity to ask questions and clarify procedures based on real situations encountered in the workplace.

On the second day, strategic planning was conducted to align upcoming targets and initiatives with the agency’s national directives and priorities for the second semester and upcoming years. PSA Romblon identified key focus areas and committed to implementing innovations and efficiency measures for better delivery of PSA mandates.

The 2025 Mid-Year Performance Review Sessions concluded on a positive note with a closing message of appreciation and encouragement from Supervising Statistical Specialist Engr. Dandy H. Fetalvero, reinforcing the shared goal of sustaining PSA Romblon’s commitment to data quality, integrity, and public service excellence.
