PSA Occidental Mindoro turnover 2022 Community-Based Monitoring System data to Municipalities of Abra De Ilog, Lubang, and Magsaysay

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Occidental Mindoro successfully handed over the 2022 Community-Based Monitoring System data to the Municipalities of Abra De Ilog, Lubang, and Magsaysay. The event was held at Isla De Oro, Barangay. Tangkalan, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro on 20 June 2024.
    
The ceremony was attended by PSA officials from the Regional office of MIMAROPA led by the Regional Director Leni R. Rioflorido, PSA Occidental Mindoro personnel headed by Chief Statistical Specialist Maribel L. Bernardo, PhD, representatives from the Municipal Mayor’s Office, Municipal Planning Development Coordinators, Provincial Government Department Heads and members of the CBMS coordinating board, and distinguished representatives from the provincial offices of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), and Provincial Planning Development Office.

Highlights from the results of the 2022 CBMS data were presented and results in various areas were discussed. The CBMS data contains valuable information on the demographic, health, education employment, income, expenditure, and housing, among various indicators of the population of the municipalities. Participating LGU’s presented their future plans and programs to be utilized for the benefits of the community.

The successful 2022 CBMS Data Turnover marks a significant moment in the Municipalities of Abra De Ilog, Lubang, and Magsaysay’s journey towards the sustainable and inclusive development of their municipalities.
