BUENAVISTA, MARINDUQUE. PSA Marinduque PSO, in partnership with LCRO Buenavista, successfully completed Mobile Registration and Acceptance of CRD requests in Barangay Daykitin on February 16, 2024, in response to the Buenavista LGU's invitation for its Lingkod Barangay activity.

Birth Registration Agent Shiela Mae D. Matining, together with Buenavista MCR Ujunneil V. Milambiling, prepared birth certificates for nine individuals whose birth records were verified not available in the PSA database. Meanwhile, ROI Mary Michelle M. Macutong and CRC Alyza Shane L. Lecaroz provided mobile services to residents in the barangay, such as receiving requests for PSA copies of civil registry documents.

On the other side, another BRAP Mobile Registration and Acceptance Services were held on February 21, 2024, at Barangay Caigangan, Buenavista, Marinduque. COLBs of four individuals were prepared after completing the requirements for delayed registration of Live Birth. Some registrants were born outside of the province, thus their documents will be transmitted and processed by the appropriate PSO/LCRO for subsequent registration.

This undertaking is a joint project of PSA Marinduque, PSA RSSO-MIMAROPA and Buenavista LGU. This project aims to increase the level of civil registration especially in marginalized communities such as those belonging to the Indigenous Peoples, Muslim Filipinos, and the poorest sector in the country and ensuring that they have their PhilIDs issued which is a gateway for them to claim their social benefits and legal identity.
