TUNGIB-LIPATA, BUENAVISTA, MARINDUQUE. PSA Marinduque PSO, in partnership with LCRO Buenavista, successfully completed Mobile Registration on BRAP in Barangay Tungib-Lipata, Buenavista on 11 April 2024.
Birth Registration Coordinator Shiela Mae D. Matining, together with Buenavista LCRO staff Alma Regio, were there to prepare birth certificates and other attachments for the delayed registration of nine individuals whose birth records were found to be unavailable in the PSA database. At the same time, Tungib-Lipata Barangay Secretary Norien Panuncio prepared the Barangay Certification and Certificate of Indigency issued by the Punong Barangay, which are required for delayed registration of Live Birth for the BRAP.
COLBs of nine individuals were prepared after completing the requirements for delayed registration of Live Birth. Some registrants were born outside of the province, thus their documents will be transmitted to and processed by the appropriate PSO/LCRO for subsequent registration.
This undertaking is a joint project of PSA Marinduque, PSA RSSO-MIMAROPA and Buenavista LGU. This project aims to increase the level of civil registration especially in marginalized communities such as those belonging to the Indigenous Peoples, Muslim Filipinos, and the poorest sector in the country and ensuring that they have their PhilIDs issued which is a gateway for them to claim their social benefits and legal identities.
