25 April 2025 - CALAPAN CITY, ORIENTAL MINDORO. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) of Oriental Mindoro in partnership with the Calapan City Public Employment Service Office (PESO) facilitated National ID registration and issuance of National ID in paper form to jobseekers of Calapeños during the 2025 Calapan City Job Fair held on 25 April 2025 at Divine Word College of Calapan Basic Education Campus, Brgy. Tibag, Calapan City.

This initiative was spearheaded by PSA Oriental Mindoro under the leadership of Officer-in-Charge / Chief Administrative Officer Charlyn Romero-Cantos alongside with Calapan City PESO Manager Eder Apolinar M. Redublo, Ph.D.

In conclusion, PSA Oriental Mindoro assisted eight National ID registrations and 36 National ID in paper form issued to jobseekers. The National ID team also assisted clients in the generation of Digital National ID and filing of lost National ID cards.

The National ID is part of the Philippine government’s ongoing effort to issue identification cards to all Filipino citizens. The initiative is aimed at streamlining public services, ensuring efficient delivery of government aid, and enabling access to various financial and social services.
