Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) MIMAROPA awarded exemplary establishments for their outstanding compliance in the Monthly Integrated Survey of Selected Industries (MISSI) and Producer Price Survey (PPS) at Mahalta Resorts and Convention Center on April 22, 2025. The MISSI and PPS are key national surveys that monitor the performance of industries and track changes in prices in the production sector.

The awarding ceremony coincided with the Press Conference on Regional Accounts of the Philippines, where updates on the region’s economic performance was presented. Awardees included VT Ricemill and R&F Ricemill, which were lauded for demonstrating timeliness and reliability in data submission that directly contributed to the accurate estimation of economic performance of the region. The event gathered local media, Regional Statistics Committee (RSC) members, and representatives from public and private sectors.
