Banana

In the first quarter of 2024, banana production in Palawan declined by approximately  6.7 percent compared with the first quarter of 2023. The total volume of production this quarter was estimated at 9,773.19 metric tons, decreased by 706 metric tons from the 10,479.19 metric tons in the same period last year. 

Of the total banana production in Palawan for the first quarter of 2024, 70.3 percent of the output came from banana, saba. The remaining 29.67 percent was produced from  varieties of latundan,lakatan, bungulan and others.

Calamansi

The production of calamansi in Palawan increased by about 2.5 percent during the first quarter of 2024. The 75.39 metric tons total volume of production was about 1.82 metric tons higher than the 73.57 metric tons recorded output in the same quarter of the previous year. 

Mango 

The mango production in the province during the first quarter of 2024 was recorded at 22.77 metric tons, which registered an increase of approximately 12.7 percent compared to the 20.20 metric tons harvested output during the same quarter of the previous year. 

Of the total mango production in province for the first quarter of 2024, 55.6 percent of the output came from mango piko, 31.0 percent came from mango carabao, and 13.5 percent was mango others production. 

Pineapple

The production of pineapple in the province of Palawan declined by 5.1 percent in the  first quarter of 2024 compared to the same quarter output in 2023. The total volume of production for this quarter was estimated at 119.38 metric tons or a decrease of about 6.42 metric tons than the 125.80 metric tons recorded output in the same quarter of the previous year.
