The collaboration between Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Marinduque Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development Provincial Operations Office (DSWD POO) persists in their joint endeavors to facilitate Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Authentication, an equivalency of Family Development Session (FDS) for Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries.

During PhilSys authentication, 4Ps beneficiaries provide their PhilID or ePhilID for verification. A PSA personnel inputs the PhilSys Card Number, scans fingerprints, and checks the PhilSys registry for a match. The verification result is documented on an attendance sheet signed by PSA and DSWD representatives, confirming the beneficiary's identity and FDS attendance.

As of 23 March 2024, PhilSys Team recorded a total of 6,970 successful authentications of 4Ps beneficiaries, along with an additional 1,075 registrants who completed Step 2 Registration during PhilSys Authentication.

This collaborative effort underscores the potential implementation and usefulness of the National ID to verify the identity of Filipino citizens in their day-to-day transactions, thereby improving efficiency and security across various sectors of society.
