The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Marinduque Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) currently conducts the 2023 Census of Philippine Business and Industry (CPBI) and 2023 Input Output Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (IOSPBI). • to generate indicators such as profitability, and other indicators necessary for the evaluation of the performance of establishments by industry at the national and regional levels;
• to generate information on micro, small and medium establishments/enterprises (MSME) based on employment grouping;
• to generate gender disaggregated statistics on employment in establishments;
• to generate statistics on the Research and development employment, expenditures, and capitalization of establishments, and
• to provide updates in the Statistical Business Register (SBR) on basic information for the sample establishments covered in the CPBI.
