PSA Oriental Mindoro successfully authenticated  
12 thousand 4Ps Beneficiaries through PhilSys

As of 10 May 2024, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Oriental Mindoro and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Provincial Operations  Office of Oriental Mindoro had successfully verified the identities of 12,728 4Ps beneficiaries through the National ID’s online biometric authentication application.

During the Family Development Sessions (FDS), the beneficiaries undergone fingerprint scanning and the results were compared to their National ID to confirm their identity. In addition to biometric authentication services, PhilSys services such as registration and ePhilID issuance were likewise done during the FDS.

Further, the goal of the registration is for all Filipinos to be provided with access to financial, social protection, health, education and other government services and this project aims to saturate all 4Ps beneficiaries to be registered in PhilSys, to allow a more efficient, targeted, and equitable delivery of social protection programs and services.
