
19 SEPTEMBER 2024 - BOAC, MARINDUQUE. The Provincial Statistical Office of Marinduque, in partnership with the LGU Boac and the Boac LCRO, successfully conducted Civil Registration Mobile Services in two barangays of the Ilaya II District - Barangay Sawi and Barangay Apitong, on 19 September 2024.
Before the information dissemination forum, Boac LCRO staff Leody Marie Mercado expressed her gratitude towards the Sangguniang Barangays of Sawi and Apitong for their unwavering support to the activity. She also shared valuable information regarding Civil registration and mobile services to the community, including seeking a PSA copy of civil registry documents using the Boac BREQS. In addition, BRC Shiela Mae Matining provided information regarding the process for delayed registration under BRAP. Unregistered individuals were also listed down for verification to PSA database through the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP).
Residents who took part in the civil registration mobile services expressed their gratitude, emphasizing how the initiative significantly saved them both time and resources. This outreach is a key component of a larger effort by Boac LCRO and PSO Marinduque to connect with underserved communities, ensuring that all citizens can register their births and ultimately gain access to vital services such as education, healthcare, and social security.
